Aims of the Project

The service aims to inform adults of the full range of learning options available and to assist them in making choices that fit with their work and/or life goals.

The Information Centre provides information on ....

• All the options for adults returning to learning

• Full-time and part-time courses

• Application forms and deadlines

• Funding options

• Careers information

Adults can also get help to identify ....

• Their long-term goals and interests

• The education paths they need to take

• Which path is best for them

• Where they can join that path

• The supports available to them on their way

Who can use the service?

The Information Centre is open to all adults interested in returning to learning or finding out about their options.

A Guidance Service is available to adults taking VTOS, BTEI, Community Education and Carlow Adult Learning Centre courses.

The staff are also available to provide group information sessions.
